Gretchen Tulloch, MEd, CCC-SLP is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), with specialty training in Orofacial Myology. She brings over 25 years of clinical experience, working primarily with pediatric populations across a wide range of settings, including homes, preschools, schools, daycares, and nursing homes.
Gretchen earned her undergraduate degree in communication disorders from North Carolina State University, followed by a master’s degree in communication disorders from North Carolina Central University. Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing evidence-based, individualized therapy that supports functional communication and overall quality of life for her clients.
In 2018, Gretchen expanded her clinical focus to include myofunctional disorders after observing that many of her clients experienced chronic mouth breathing, snoring, sleep apnea, and orthodontic challenges that required more than traditional speech therapy alone. She completed an intensive 28-hour orofacial myology course with Sandra Holzman, an experience that profoundly shaped and enhanced her therapeutic approach.
Gretchen is deeply committed to ongoing professional growth and excellence. She earned her first ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE), an honor awarded to clinicians who complete double or more of the required continuing education hours, reflecting her dedication to staying current with best practices and emerging research in the field. Her advanced training includes Oral Placement Therapy: Clinical Implications for Tongue Thrust and Lisps, Orofacial Myology: From Basics to Habituation, Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty Training, and MyoSphere: Step Up Your Myo Game. She continues to pursue advanced training to ensure comprehensive, collaborative, and effective care for the individuals and families she serves.
Outside of her professional work, Gretchen has been married to her high school sweetheart, Chad, for almost 30 years. They live in Concord with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Dolly.
Molly Vaccaro, M.S., CCC-SLP is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) with specialty training in Orofacial Myology. She graduated from James Madison University with a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Her experience includes working with pediatrics 2 to 17 years of age in a clinical setting, multiple daycares, and in-home services. She has also served adults in long term care, assisted living, and outpatient in-home services.
Molly discovered her passion for Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy through challenges she faced with her own daughter. Her daughter had numerous red flags but each of them was small enough that they were discarded by multiple doctors, yet they continued to have an impact on her daughter’s overall health and well-being as she aged. In searching for answers, it led her to take a 28 hour foundational course through the International Academy of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). This in turn sparked her journey of continuous learning in order to fully evaluate the function and structure of the entire orofacial complex, including the jaw, tongue, lips, and palate.
